New To Me Mondays

sorry, i know that was a little abrupt...
hey, i'm having a party... please come... like RIGHT now?  :o)
if i just have one friend who links up at my party i'll be happy, but the more the merrier!  i'll host the party every monday, so i hope you'll join in.  :o)

this past week i stopped by Goodwill looking for contact paper and i walked out with no contact paper, but i found these two goodies.
i love this multiple votive carrier.  so simple and sweet!
i filled each votive with flowers and filler from the farmer's market and i just love the look!
and this is my second find from Goodwill... this wire rack thingy.
i'm not sure what it's supposed to be used for and i'm not sure what to do with it.  i thought, jewelry holder or use pretty clothespins to hold pictures, but i'm not sold on either idea.  do you have any suggestions?  do you know what it's supposed to be used for?  the wire racks turn and they are adjustable to different heights on the pole.

what fun "new to you" thing have you found recently?
i'd love to see!

linky rules:
- please link to your specific post, not to your blog
- please link back to this party in your post so that others can see what treasures we've all found

I love this idea too! I adore seeing what other people find thrifting, even if I may get a teensy bit jealous sometimes! :D

That wire thing you just got I believe was a shoe rack. 3 tiers of 5-6 pairs of shoes each. You could use it to hold necklaces and bracelets or add some chicken wire around the prongs and stuff with moss and flowers, balls, leaves, or pine cones, etc and voila! a tabletop centerpiece!
Have fun!!
