Join the party and share your new found treasures over at
Southern Hospitality's site.
I was up early on Saturday and hit 4 garage sales/estate sales. I plan my morning and stops at
this website. These are the treasures I found.
The Lenox vase was $5, the scarf was $1, the pepper grinder was 10 cents, and the green thing was 10 cents.

I've been wanting a plate stand for awhile. I found this one for $1! Score!

I'm totally into health and fitness and so I was so excited to find these books for $2.50 a piece.

This next yard sale had me drooling the whole time. The lady used to have an antique store and she was clearing out the clutter out her garage. I told myself no more stamps, but I caved. I loved the little teapots and birdhouses. It was $4.

I found this little fence for $2, but I can't figure out where to put it in my home. It's actually bothering me. It was standing up against a tree in the grass when I picked it up and I didn't realize that it stands crooked. So I either need to prop it up or hang it on a wall. I know... I'm crazy.

And these next ones are my favorites of the WHOLE day! The Ball jar was $5 it had a price tag on it for $24. I love, love, love the color!

It has July 14 1908 on it.

I LOVE letters & numbers and I used to do calligraphy as a side business in high school so this was a huge treasure to find. It was $2 and it has a price tag on it for $14.

This might gross some of you out, but I love that it still has the old ink in it.

I'm new to all of this so I have to ask, how did I do? I always shy away from antique things because I'm not really sure what's a good deal and what is a rip off. Feel free to leave your thoughts... good or bad. I can take it. I'm still learning. :)

I love old canning jars and buy them when ever and where ever I can find them!
Great deals and finds!
OK I LOVE those jars! Especially the Ball one! I have several blue ones, and a couple shaped like that, but none that are both! The fence is adorable :)
I think you found some great buys. I love the little ink bottle. The graphics on it are wonderful.
I don't know much about antiques, but I think you did great! :) I love the plate rack (is that Southern Living @ Home?), the picket fence, the stamps, and the ball jar! :) Good finds. Thanks for the visit. :)
